On 29 November 2023 in Hanoi, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) officially launched BIDV Open API (application programming interface) - an open ecosystem which integrates banking services into customers’ applications, software, and digital platforms, thereby providing outstanding financial solutions and seamless experiences in the digital space.

After 30-day successful transformation to the new Core Banking Profile, the new system has now secured a stable and smooth operation. Mr. Phan Thanh Hai – Senior Executive Vice President of BIDV, Head of Core Banking Project Management Unit - shared about critical milestones and great implication of Core Profile towards BIDV’s development and future plans.

BIDV is the only representative from Vietnam to be awarded the Digital Transformation Award by the Asia-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO). The award ceremony was held on November 14th, 2023 in Seoul, Korea within the framework of the ASOCIO Digital Summit.

The conference, which took place in Da Nang City on 8 July 2023, provided a forum for experts, corporations and businesses to discuss and share information about green financing development and green economy to respond to climate change.

Jointly developed by BIDV in collaboration with InfoPlus - a large Korean B2B Fintech, this solution aims to provide real-time cash flow management for Korean businesses in Vietnam.

The solution was introduced at a Seminar “Real-time cash flow management solutions for Korean businesses in Vietnam” on 14 July 2023 in Hanoi.

On 17 July 2023, in Hanoi, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and JCB - an international card organization - held the launching ceremony of BIDV JCB Ultimate Credit Card – the most premium JCB card for individual customers who love to experience Japanese cuisine and culture and enjoy stylish lives.
