The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has been honored among Top 10 Vietnamese Excellent Brands.

The award was presented at a forum themed “New economic models to promote breakthrough growth and sustainable development” hosted by Vietnam Economic Times on the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Excellent Brand program (2003 – 2023).

ISO20022 is emerging as a universal language and model for financial messages across the world. Using XML syntax and hierarchical structure, it provides consistent, rich and structured data that can be used for every kind of financial business transactions. The implementation of ISO20022 must be accomplished by November 2025 as requested by SWIFT.

The award is recognition of the efforts and achievements of BIDV in applying advanced technology and implementing digital transformation to offer modern and convenient digital products and services to corporate customers.

Forbes recently released its annual Global 2000 2023 list which is based on an analysis of four metrics: sales, profits, assets and market value. Accordingly, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) saw strong changes, up 524 places compared to 2022, ranking 1.081st. This is the ninth consecutive year BIDV has been in the Forbes Global 2000 list.

The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has been among pioneers in launching the ATM-based interbank withdrawal service using VietQR code without a physical card.
